Education Forum
The Education forum was introduced in Autumn 2008 as a means of aiding communication between Union officers (Academic VP and School Reps) involved in the Student Voice System.
It takes place twice/semester and its purpose is to:
- Discuss and plan education/representation campaigns to be delivered at School or institution level.
- Give feedback on Rep activity across the institution and within the Schools.
- Feedback from academic committees attended at School and institutional level.
- Discuss current and upcoming national educational campaigns and education policy passed at NUS National Conference.
- Discuss issues affecting students’ learning across institution
- Discuss the effectiveness of the student voice system itself and any ideas of possible developments
- Discuss possible education and representation-related policies that might be put to Students’ Union Council
