Well done; you’ve found the page for voters! All current University of Wolverhampton students can vote in our elections, unless you’ve opted out of membership from the Union.
Choosing who you vote for is an important choice as it will affect the way your Union is run next year and what activities are put on for students. Don’t just vote for the first candidate that speaks to you. Find out what the different candidates for each position will do if they get in. Find out their views on issues affecting you. Find out how they plan to make the Union work better for you!
There are 3 simple steps to allow you to make the best choice:
1) Read through candidates manifestos
2) Attend the Candidates’ Question Time
3) Talk to the candidates on an individual basis and pick their brains
After that you’re all prepared to turn up to one of the ballot stations and cast your votes! Just take your Uni ID card with you!
Don’t forget- if you know in advance that you won’t be able to get to one of the voting stations, register for a postal vote by Monday 8th March
