Worlds Aids Day 2008

Here at the Students’ Union, the welfare team - Caroline, Ann, Jack and Ceri are bringing World Aids Day awareness to your union on Monday 1st December 2008 in The Zone between 2-4pm.
We will be taking on the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) ‘Get your knickers in a twist campaign’ by asking students to decorate paper knickers (available from the Reception and Information Point or downloadable from here), make their own knickers, or make a sculpture out of knickers to go on display in the Union. The student with the best design will win a £40 La Senza gift card to spend in store! (alternative prize for the gents!).
Also on the day, we will be joined by a range of visitors for a mini information fayre. Come along to see what is on offer!
We will be fundraising for the THT at the same time and selling red ribbons. We also hope that some of the current societies come and get involved as well as launching our new society… the Terrence Higgins Trust Society.
Come and join us if you can! Remember to bring your pants and take advantage of FREE information/advice and freebies/prizes. It’s all about having fun…so don’t get your knickers in a twist!
