Community and West Midlands Police
WLV Union works closely with the police to combat crime. We also regard links with the community an important factor and are constantly looking at ways of strenghtening this. Community safety meetings are held in all areas of Wolverhampton and the general public are welcomed to attend. For more information link www.westmidlandspolice.co.uk
As well as the student safety co-ordinator George Samuels g.samuels@wlv.ac.uk we work in partnership with a police student officer PC Claire Yeomans who can be contacted to report any crime or concerns. Claire is available in the Advice and Support Centre on alternate Wednesdays from 12pm-2pm.
It is important to report crimes as this allows problems in the local community to be dealt with and helps make areas safer.
